Old School Friday: Smile

A smile is a fragile thing, you know? It can be fleeting, or it can last forever in your memory. There are things that I vividly remember that bring a smile to my face: the birth of my son, getting married, being in the middle of love and feeling it envelop me completely. All of these moments have a soundtrack. They all have a music memory attached to them. That is my life…I am a walking musical.

I was going to go all out MJ on you all this week, but perhaps not. MJ always makes me smile; but then, so does Luther, and Boyz II Men, and Jill. There is one song in particular that leapt into the forefront of all the others. This song makes my heart smile. I hope it brings a smile to you, as well.

I love Anita Baker! Yes she does make you smile. I had a list of videos to post and her "Angel" was one of them but then I decided to go with some 70's music!
