Old School Friday: Freshman

Hello everyone…

Sorry I’m late…I’ve got some kind of sinus thing going on and it has put a damper on all of my activities.

Let’s see…freshman year for me would have been 85 – 86. Lots of good music back then, still kinda fresh and innocent and pure. There was lots of Prince and Madonna, the emergence of this singing songbird named Whitney Houston, and plenty of jheri-curl juiced singing groups to choose from.

This is still one of my favorite songs…I love his voice:

2 of great songs! Love simply red and of course the force md's did there thang for a good minute! I loved them until I saw the big dude buying drugs in a Staten Island housing complex where I used to live. But by that time their musical reign was about over anyway. Very sad. The music is still hot though!
