Happy Friday!

Not that I would ever do it again, but I think this song would be one I would pick. It sums up the feelings and emotions perfectly…

  • I like Eric's work and separate it from his issues that indicate he is definitely not good marriage material. :-) I've listened to some of his music and thought how can a man write and perform such romantic lyrics and then do women the way he does in real life? However, he also has some lyrics that confesses his indiscretions that I think are autobiographical. Well, Marvin Gaye did the same. It shows how our artistic selves may be in conflict with our nature and that ultimately we tell on ourselves probably. Your choice would make a good wedding song.

I used my actual song and then a bittersweet back-up.

    Happy OSF.
  • I would never want to be the woman in his life, but I could listen to him all day (and have!)...

Nordette, I frequently think the same thing about him--as well as other artists. LOL!

ANyway, this song would be a nice one to walk down the aisle to or to first dance to. The fact that it is a duet is even more appropriate.

    Happy OSF!
  • I do love this song, and although Eric Benet has had some fidelity issues, Tamia has an awesome marriage to Grant Hill. I've not been married and I prefer not to jump the gun with having songs on my wedding list when I don't know my husband yet, but I picked a couple that popped in my head when I saw the theme. Happy OSF!
  • This is the first time I've heard an Eric Benet song. No wonder he had the ladies swooning.

    Happy OSF
  • Your first time hearing...really!? He is definitely worthy of the swooning...
  • HOW can I forget that song? Such a jewel. :)

    Happy OSF lovely.

Eric Benet can sing? Who knew? Guess I'be been too busy just looking at him! LOL

BTW, just wanted to let you know that I left you a little something...
