Splash!

My blog sister, Ms. Regina, has once again passed along an award honoring this blog for its contents. I am always humbled when I receive these awards; they bring the reality that someone out there is listening to my voice. I may not be controversial, and I may not yell loudly, and I may not do what others believe I should, but having others appreciate what I do is a feeling that I cannot explain. Ms. Regina, I thank you.

• Ambitionz Az A Writer - The title alone wins points as a play on one of my favorite Pac songs…but being a writer, it is the honesty and emotion pouring out of the blog posts that impress me more.
• Pop Culture Dish – Although I haven’t had time to participate in the weekly Tuesday Trivia, I look forward to the time when I am able to get back to it. Malcolm, who heads this blog, is a treasure trove of often amusing pop culture facts.
• Invisible Cinema – IW is my girl! I love her alluring posts…she is witty and full of charm. Even though she had me worried there for a moment when she didn’t post for a minute (I was over there every day, girl!), I will always have her back.
• SoulAfrodisiac - ThaConnoisseur has a musical ear, and she shares it with us with her bewitching posts. I love her Musical Morsels, and her concert reviews…she stays front and center for some of the best music performances!
• Whose Shoes Are These Anyway? - Verite’ Parlant…the name alone impresses me. It is the writing however that attracted me to this lady’s site. She joined the OSF party and once I read her posts, I kept going back for more.

One more thing…

I am writing full-time now. It is my calling. I can no longer run away from it, nor do I want to. For several reasons, I’m changing the name of the site to…Conversations with Marva. I haven’t made the decision yet when the change will be made, as I will still need to transfer some files and do some other stuff, but when you see the blank page, you’ll know. Some new stuff is already over there, so if you would like to continue to follow, please update your bookmarks. I promise this will be the last time. (((smiles)))
