Hello all…I’ve been away awhile, huh? I hit a serious writer’s block, blogger’s block, or whatever you want to call it…shit, I just had nothing to say. The weight of the world wore me down and I got discouraged, I guess.
But I don’t want to do wrong…it’s been so long…

But this is my forum, right? This is where I should take my frustrations out…so I’m back. I must apologize to Symphony for missing out on my Good News Tuesdays and Ms. SjP for missing Sunday Inspirations…I will return this week.
What the hell did I return to? First of all, this chick with these 8 babies…what in the world? Already with 6 young children at home, Nadya Suleman used a fertility doctor to give birth to octuplets. 14 children…and she has no job and is not married. During an interview with Ann Curry of MSNBC, she stated that she always wanted a big family. And apparently her boyfriend is the biological father of all 14 children and wanted to marry her, but she told him no. Why? It’s none of our business…or is it? That is really my issue with this whole thing…how much of this story do we really need to know? I personally think it is crazy (because one child almost drove me nuts, and I have a village) but with the whole issue of everyone looking into everyone else’s wallets, do we really get to know how this woman is supporting these kids? Her own mother is against the whole thing, and has said that what she has done is “unconscionable.” I think this woman is looking for the attention, personally…God bless her. Better yet, God bless those babies…
Then we have the Grammys. I sat and watched the whole show last night which started with a little something extra featuring Chris Brown and Rihanna (more on this later). Here are some of my observations:
- Whitney Houston looked fantastic, but sounded like she had smoked a fat one before coming out on stage.
- Who in the hell thought that it would be a good idea for the Jonas Brothers to sing with Stevie Wonder?! Fail…
- Jennifer Hudson looked FABULOUS!!! Although I must really say that I don’t think that her CD deserved R&B Album of the Year honors…I think that one should have gone to Al Green or Raphael Saadiq…
- BTW, I cried like a baby during JHud’s performance…go girl!
- I so thought that M.I.A. was going to pop that baby out on stage…I know I’m not alone.
- I am so checking for Radiohead right now, it’s ridiculous.
That’s all I care to discuss…
Now on to this Chrihanna shit. Look, I don’t condone no man putting his hands on any chick…point blank. Period. And when all of this shit comes out to wash, when the facts come to the light, if that is what the facts say, then this dude is so off my radar, it is not even funny. What is annoying to me, as is always annoying, is immediately jumping to conclusions without knowing. All we know is what we have been fed by the media. We don’t know his or her side of the story…and I don’t want to hear about what it looks like. I know what it looks like. But hold your conclusions until the facts are out…I will.
I’ll see y’all tomorrow…
