Old School Friday: NE Heartbreak!

You have NO IDEA how much I love New Edition! This post is a joy for me…I’ve been watching NE videos all week, trying to pick just two (damn, I hate that I signed on for that rule, just for this one post!)…

Anywho, I found this little gem…I think the addition of Johnny Gill to NE after Bobby Brown’s exit was a major coup…although he couldn’t dance worth a damn, that voice signaled a new level of maturity to the group.

Awesome picks! But you can almost pick anything from the "grown Up" New Edition and I will love it! I hated the young NE. Candy Girl & Telephone man got on my last nerve!

I would have chose all three of these songs if I could, but I did choose 2 out of 3 of them. Boys II Men is my favorite song off that album next Can You Stand the Rain. Can You Stand the Rain is a must...

New Edition ascended a little bit after my time for falling in love with boy groups, but this was a good topic that caused me to dig into my past a bit and wonder what was I doing while they rose to fame and figure out how to connect to New Edition Heartbreak. :-) I like Can You Stand the Rain.
