Happy OSF! So New Year’s Eve is next Wednesday, and this theme is to get prepared for that day. I remember spending New Year’s Eve over my granny’s, with my aunts and uncles downstairs playing cards and the catfish and spaghetti and cornbread in abundance. Ah, memories! My interpretation of this theme is a good ole house party, with loud music and plenty of food, reminiscent of my granny’s house back in the day…there was always plenty of good music flowing at these get togethers…this is where I learned my appreciation for good music…I give you two of my faves:

    I was just listening to Brick House today. I almost got out the car and started strolling the imaginary catwalk. LOL! That will always be my JAM! That and Cry Together are indeed classics that you hear while folks is gathered playing cards and talking ish. Great choices.
