This song is the title cut from Anthony’s new CD, “The Point Of It All.” When I first heard it, I all of a sudden remembered what it felt like to be in love. And I liked those memories. I remembered being kissed on the back of my neck, and sitting in the car, smooching…and the walks around town holding hands and looking into that person’s eyes and thinking that they were the only person you ever wanted to be with. This is what music should be…it should take you to a good place, a place where you long to be again, and a place where you yearn for…and remember fondly. Anthony Hamilton is the truth…

I must admit that when I heard the radio cut, “Cool,” I wasn’t convinced that I was going to like this CD. I thought (and still think) that “Cool” is just not representative of what Anthony does. It is alright, but not true to what he is. I understand him trying to change things up, but that song just didn’t do it for me. But hey, I’m a fan…so I waited until the CD was released and was highly impressed. That voice…man; that voice!

I don’t want to spoil the surprise for you…if you want to listen to some really good singing and music, then you need to own this CD. It has come in under the wire as one of the best of the year (in my opinion).
