It seemed like something out of a movie…those images of burning buildings, the planes flying into those massive structures, the buildings crumbling to the ground. That couldn’t be happening in our country, could it? Not here, not in the United States? Why, and how, and who?

Even with the safely disseminated information, the questions remain. The images still haunt us, and our prayers are with the brave souls who lost their lives on this day, and for the families that this tragedy affected. God bless…

I was half way across the country and could only watch the television in horror, so I admittedly will never understand how you felt being that close to it. But I understand not being able to watch it...it is truly the unimaginable nightmare come true.

I was 2 miles away and standing on Broadway watching it all happen on my way to work. To this day, I can't bear to watch the footage. There is no way to describe the horror and sadness I felt for everyone and my Beloved NYC. It's just too much Marva and it's 7 years later. I'd been in and out of those bldngs all my life with field trips and visits to friends. It's just too awful for words.
