Football Mania!

I have spent the past weekend in absolute football heaven! Watching football all day Sunday, and all night last night has me on such a high…I live for football season. Those of you who love it like I do, know that football is like a soap opera…come on along for the ride!

Tom Brady is out for the season? Vince Young is down for 4-6 weeks? Aaron Rodgers just may be the real deal in Green Bay? Donovan is back in fine form? The Chargers aren’t as good as they think they are? Is this the Cowboys year? Is Reggie Bush going to finally live up to the hype?

All these questions and more to be answered in the coming weeks…this is why I love football! One last thought…I get that Tom Brady is a premier quarterback, and I truly feel sorry for my friend, “R” who drafted him on her squad on our fantasy football league…but is it really the end to the football season that he’s going to be out? I got so damn sick of the reporters acting like the damn sky was falling when he went down…and them acting like VY was off to kill himself when he hurt his knee. Damn!

I'm feelin' you! This is my favorite sport although I don't keep up with it like the real diehards. I let my husband keep track of all that while I just enjoy it. Yeah, I pick a team from the start and go from there. And going to a game is the BEST!

Did you see the news about Vince Young? His mom got on TV and complained about him getting booed and said he doesn't know if he wants to play anymore... While I understand how traumatic a MCL sprain can be, I'm confused about the coddling...

Hey Viv! I have loved football err since my divorce...who woulda thunk?!

I understand about Tommie Boy being the Golden Boy, but oooh I got tired of them talking about him, especially since there were so many other stories, i.e. DONOVAN!!!

I'm glad another female "gets" me. Whenever I talk about football, they look at me like I have two heads. Oh well, the guys love it!

I think the Pats might surprise everyone. Tom B is the Golden Boy though so it's big news. My boy looked GOOD. It's on and poppin Monday night baby!
