Hmm…I love to watch little boys and girls with talent get their swagger on…it makes me giggle.

The second best kid group (now full grown adult males, and I’m still on their tip)…

That is all…tee hee hee…

I still love New Edition too!! This was a great song. We use to tease my brother that he looked like Michael Bivins,...he hated that! LOL! They were suppose to come to Charleston last year but had to cancel the show. You know how black folk like to wait til the last minute to buy a ticket.

When they had their reunion tour a few years back, I was living in Durham, NC. My best friend had bought us tickets to see the show along with a couple other chicks. We ended up missing most of the show (coming in at the last song) because we were driving all around Raleigh looking for this chick she was suppose to pick up to go with us. All my friend had was the girl's cell number and she wasn't answering. I was STEAMING!!! When we got to the show the usher laughed at us because we were so late. My girl felt so bad she didn't make me pay her back for the ticket. I seriously had to reassess our friendship LOL! She was Maid of Honor at my wedding but when I think about that night, I still get salty.

@Kim - Ooh, Kim...I would have been hot! Even with my bestest, bestest, bestest girlfriend...she would still hear me mad about that one!
  • I wanna know, I GOTTA know is this the end girllllll

    Definitely in the originators circle.

I'm still on their tip too...well, not Bob-bay's!
  • Marvalus
@Vivrant Thang - Ricky was sanging that part, wasn't he?!

Yeah, Bob-bay went to the way left...even when they did the reunion album, I wasn't feeling him...
  • Aw Man! No you didn't Marva! I LOVE that song so much. People always talkin' this ole New Kids On The Block nonsense. N.E. created some timeless cuts that take you back.
  • Classic!! My favorite NE song is "Can You Stand The Rain", I love that song!!!!

All - I think I've watched this video at least 5 times this morning...I LOVE NEW EDITION!!!
  • New Edition had me & my friends all over Boston in malls screaming & acting foolish. This is one of my favorites from them. Happy OSF!
  • New Edition my hometown band.

    We were crazy for them.

    Have a blessed weekend.

This one really makes me smile cause their voices changed! Great choice. Much obliged for stopping by for my real, real, real OSF picks.
  • New Edition is one of the BEST kid groups of all time, and i started to do them as well- GREAT pick-
  • I don't remember NE being so young. ;)

"Candy Girl" reminds me of the Jackson 5.

It's always a pleasure visiting on OSF, and any other day.
  • By far the best kids group ever put together, in my opinion better than the Jackson 5 because they were more hood. I'll let you have Ronnie, this time, since it's your blog. Great choice!
  • Marvalus
    @MrsGrapevine - tee hee hee...why thank you!
  • i mean, who can really go wrong with new edition. new edition is the pioneering group of "boy bands" and i still rock to 'em fo' sho!
  • I'm just doing mine it will be up soon. I'm trying not to look at others.
  • No one can be NE. I know they were built to be the new age Jackson Five. But they brought so much to R&B and have put out so many hits that I appreciate til this day.
  • I still think this song is one of the best of all times. I remember seeing it on Video Music Box and thinking it was so heartfelt. I doubt anyone will ever reminisce on B2K in the same way.
