May 202008

I sat with bated breath to see if Flav was going to follow his heart or his…well, you know. It was down to Thing 2 (I just have a problem with calling that girl, “Thing 2″) and Black, after he finally got rid of Sinceer’s ass (how she got the name Sinceer I will never know because she was anything but). I was delighted when, after arriving in Paris, Flav sent for T2 because she was on his mind…he should have never gotten rid of her in the first place.

Now, I am one that believes that this show is soooo staged. This time, however, the feeling was a little different for me. I’m not all googly about Flav and I think this is exploitation at its height, and I am really putting too much thought into this…but T2 seemed to be the right one for him all along. Even with all the contriteness and overwhelming fakeness in the house surrounding him, she always seemed like she was based in realness.

And when in Paris, when he invited her back to his room and she said no, I actually clapped my hands for her. I was happy that she didn’t fall for the okey-doke, that she wasn’t going to play that, “Im’ma compare the two and see who’s going to get down the best” game with him. Flav and T2 seemed to have the most fun together, seem to actually understand one another, and actually seem to be (dare I say?) a perfect fit. So I was glad to see that he followed his heart and not his…well, you know.

The reunion show is next week and the previews show Flav getting down on one knee with a ring in a box, proposing…hmm. I’ll be back after that to let you know what’s up.

It’s all love…

  • Sharon - I don't know about the family drama, but it didn't seem like the sister (T1) was in it as much...

Cynthia - I must admit I was a little misty too...it has to be the old age

SjP - I don't know how much of a catch he is, but to each her own...

Yep! just like my kids told me a few weeks ago, that T2 won Flav's heart! And oh, what a heart to win? SjP
  • I caught this last night when I got home from casino.

I was getting a little bit teary-eyed. I'm getting romantic in my old age (cough, cough).

But I empathize with Thing 2...I've loved someone like that once before and I know how crazy it is!

They are cute together. I hope it pans out.
  • I didn't watch this show as much as I did the first or the second. I have caught it in reruns. But, I do know that Thing 2 has a sister Thing 1 who was trying to get the same man.
Does that lead to some family drama down the line?

When New York (on her show) had the two brothers on agruing and fighting over her I was like . . .please put y'all. first.
  • Me neither, Mike...I swore off this show after Deelishus, but I turned on the TV one Sunday afternoon and I was sucked in again...

But you are right about T2 turning him down...I knew then she won too...
  • P.S.

There is a lesson in that right there, Ive been telling women till I am purple in the face.

No matter what we say or do we really dont want the easy ones!
  • God I cant stop watching this show!
I feel so guilty but this one is the best one yet. I actually believe that they can be a couple. When she said no to the night cap I knew she won, she let him no off the rip I am NOT LIKE THESE HOs. How could he not respect that!
  • I was cussing him out hard when he sent her home, Mrs. G...but you are right about him being just her type...

They should be alright for one another...
  • I agree Thing 2 was the one, when he cut her from the show I stopped watching. I just so happened to catch the season finale late last night and thought I would watch to see the winner. Although I said I wouldn't watch the show in the beginning, I eventually gave in, it's a guilty pleasure.

Anyway, I was happy when Thing 2 came back. Flav is just her type, she's been with same old man for 7 years and now another.
