Sunday Inspirations: Delight Yourself

I think about this verse often and it is one that I hold close to my heart. It often crosses my mind when I have doubts, or am troubled by my situation; I think it is His way of reminding me to keep my eyes on the prize and remember that He has me in his arms and is blessing me, even when I can’t see it. I don’t waste my time envying what others have, and thinking about what I don’t have. In time, what I desire will come to fruition because I believe. I would not be here without the goodness and mercy of the God I serve, and I thank Him everyday for what He has given me. I only hope that I am living my life in such a way that He is pleased with me.
