Brother Like Me

We’ve been friends for so many years

And I have seen you cry and dried you tears.

Many times your heart’s been broken in two,

By evil guys who never loved you.

I know in my heart we were meant to be,

Now tell me could you love a brother like me?

Just good friends is all we’ve ever been,

I guess to want more would be a sin.

To you I may just be a nice guy,

But only a fool would let you pass him by.

I know in my heart we were meant to be,

So could you love a brother like me?

You’re perfect in everything you do,

And every ray of sunshine,

rejoices when it touches you.

Being with you has always been on my mind,

Many nights I have prayed that you would be mine

I know that we were meant to be,

So could you possibly love a brother like me?
